The First “Better” Kit

My first kit was 1/24 Lotus F107 Ford by Tamiya. That kit was totally wrecked, no paint, using power glue, and bad decals. Unfortunately, I only buy it for IDR 30,000 at great sale. So I think it's time to throw it to the bin. The next kit was 1/24 Toyota Celica WRC 1992 by Tamiya. It's good enough but I want to remake or use the parts to modified other kits. It still no paint but I'm use marker that time even only silver and black. At that time, I already know how to use the decal. The few next kits is in same condition. It is Peugeot 206 WRC Monte Carlo 2000, Subaru Impreza WRC Safari 1998, Subaru Impreza WRC Monte Carlo 2003, Toyota Corolla WRC Monte Carlo, and Mercedes Benz CLK GTR DTM. There are 2 kits I made without decals. It's Ford Escort WRC and Honda Accord JGTC. The Ford is not special, but the Honda is the most I like that time. So, I will explain about it.

BEFORE (Built 2003)
I made it out of the box but without decals attach to it. I use the decals for modified other cars. Window’s lists are paint using black marker and in few area, there are some power glue residue on window. This is some picture of my Accord before I made some detailing and mod few years ago.

AFTER (Built 2005)

A few years ago, I made some detailing on window's lists and clean few areas, replace stickers, try to remove glue residues but failed and clear coat.
